Help Me Support "Best Buddies"

I want to let you know about a bike ride that my daughter Tamara and I are doing on September 6th. Tamara will be doing a 15-mile bike ride and I will be doing a 62-mile bike ride to benefit Best Buddies in its fourth annual “Challenge.”

Help me help Best Buddies. Founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver in 1989, the Best Buddies mission is to enhance the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and employment. This fantastic organization seeks to connect people with intellectual disabilities to mentors and friends. Best Buddies also helps people train for, obtain, and maintain jobs.

The ride Tamara and I will do on September 6th will support the Best Buddies organization's efforts to expand its programs to more communities.

Please consider pledging 25 cents, 50 cents, or $1 per mile for our peddling. Or, send a bigger contribution if you are so inclined. Your contribution will be matched&#8212dollar for dollar&#8212up to our $5,000 goal.
