Tom will discuss education and the state budget situation during the September meeting of the Democrats of Rossmoor at the Hillside Club House Diablo Room.

The club's social time runs from 7-7:30 p.m., with the speech to begin at 7:30. Members and non-members of the Democrats of Rossmoor can attend. For more information, contact Nancy at 925-933-0582.

Please join me at a Joan Buchanan phone bank on Saturday, October 18, from 5-9 p.m. at Joan's San Ramon Campaign Office, located at 2694 Bishop Avenue. Joan and I will speak to the volunteers at 6 p.m.

Please join me and Assemblymember Mark DeSaulnier at a Joan Buchanan precinct walk on Saturday, October 25. We will meet at 144 Continente Avenue in Brentwood.

Volunteer sign-in and a short training about the Buchanan campaign and precinct walk details will begin at 9:30 a.m. Joan, Mark, and I will speak at 10 a.m. and then we will walk to help Joan's campaign. Light refreshments will be served.

Tom is a featured guest at the Little Stars Gala to benefit the We Care Children's Center at the Pleasant Hill Country Club.

Tom will receive local recognition of his National Trails Award for Public Service at the Delta Protection Commission meeting in Stockton.

The meeting is open to the public and will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, at the San Joaquin County WorkNet Building Conference Room, First Floor, 56 South Lincoln Street in Stockton.
