I want to let you know about a bike ride that my daughter Tamara and I are doing on September 6th. Tamara will be doing a 15-mile bike ride and I will be doing a 62-mile bike ride to benefit Best Buddies in its fourth annual “Challenge.”

Tom is going to attend a Lamorinda Democratic Club fundraiser to support Joan Buchanan's candidacy for the 15th Assembly District on Monday, September 8, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Metro Restaurant in Lafayette, 3424 Mt. Diablo Blvd.

Tom will discuss education and the state budget situation during the September meeting of the Democrats of Rossmoor at the Hillside Club House Diablo Room.
